Getting back from 4 days of Disney

April 8, 2011 By Lucy

Hello everyone!

I just got back from Disneyland and I went on Tower of Terror and California Screamin’! It was so fun!!!!!!!! I went upside down on California Screamin’, and on Tower of Terror, we went down about six stories. We had frozen lemonade, and that was the only time we stopped. We ran and ran to get to other rides.

We hardly waited at all, four days at Disneyland with only about a hour of waiting, but at the California Adventure Park the line was longer at Toy Story then on California Screamin’! But that was probably because it broke, and it just opened when we got on it.

My top three favorite rides in order are:

  • California Screamin’
  • Space Mountain
  • Big Thunder Railroad

I recommend these rides. They are the most fun!

Save The Red Panda!

January 31, 2011 By Lucy

The red panda has been endangered for a long time because its population is less than 10,000 individuals. Although red pandas are protected by national laws in some of their countries, their numbers in the wild continue to minus mainly due to habitat loss. They have reddish-brown fur, and their tail is about 37 to 47 cm.

There are only two kinds of non-extinct red pandas
Western red panda
Styan’s red panda

Some people cut down trees and bushes where red pandas live, so if people keep cutting down trees, red pandas will become extinct. If they become extinct, there will be one species less in our world. Also, if people cut down trees, red pandas might fall down and badly hurt themselves, or it could result in death.

Here are some videos and pictures of the red panda.
